The Kentucky Board of Radon Safety issued a Notice of Statutory Amendments and Proposed Rulemaking on January 12. The notice confirms the requirements for contractors and business entities to be certified to provide radon measurement, mitigation, or analytical analysis while regulations are promulgated for registering certifications in accordance with the statute. The notice also confirms that measurement, mitigation, and analytical analysis must be conducted in accordance with the applicable AARST/ANSI standard.
